FLORA NO. 3

Flora No. 3 has steam bent white oak curves ending in flourishing leaves. The pale cottonwood member has four contrasting inlay keys. The walnut live edge piece is intersected by two curves partially hiding the geometric padauk inlay. Black stripes show the steam bending process where metal stained the tanin in the white oak. The curves are interconnected and held in tension with handmade strings.
